He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinrich Pott and Wilhelmine Pott (Mester). He is survived by: his wife Edeltraud "Edie"; his children, Andreas Pott (Maria), Silvia Johnson (Michael) and Bettina Pott (Dawit Mulugeta); his grandchildren, Avaida, Gabriella, Claudia, Victoria Pott, Sonja, Annika Johnson, Mathias, Thomas, Daniel and Stephan Dawit; and his brother-in-law Fritz Frauenrath. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
