As we bid Guadalupe farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Guadalupe is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband Juan Perez, Sr.; and her children, Alma, Lety, Nito, Zully and Rigo. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews and also her loving cat.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (3200 E 91st St, Chicago, IL 60617). A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (801 Michigan City Rd, Calumet City, IL 60409).
