He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Magdelena (Nena); his parents, Lupe Sanchez and Gerardo Sanchez; his siblings, Vincent Sanchez, Gloria Hollendoner (George), Olivia Alvarez (Orlando), Joseph and Sarah Sanchez; his children, Celia Nelson (Daniel), Gerald Sanchez (Jessica) and Marina Sanchez; his stepdaughters, Bianca and Olivia Cortes; his grandsons, Ezra David and Michael; and his nieces and nephews, Brianna Sachez, Alexandria Hollendoner, Alyssa Hollendoner, George Hollendoner III, Arielle Alvarez, Leo Alvarez and Nathan Alvarez.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sadowski Funeral Home (13300 S Houston Ave, Chicago, IL 60633). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A prayer was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (3200 E 91st St, Chicago, IL 60617). A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (801 Michigan City Rd, Calumet City, IL 60409).
