We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2023, at the age of 86, George Marius Carrera Sr. of Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Lee Booton (Booton); his parents, Otilio Carrera and Virginia Carrera (Vasquez); his siblings, Armando Carrera (Beatrice), Dora Carrera, Martha Smith (late Daniel), Charles Carrera (Rita) and Robert Carrera (Karen); and his son Ronald Carrera.
He is survived by: his siblings, Virginia Mould (late Roy) and William Carrera (Lillian); his children, George Carrera Jr. (Heather), Laura Reichert (Henry), James Carrera (Elizabeth) and Elisabeth Rivera (Angel); his grandchildren, George III (Michelle), Jesse (Clara), Jack, Michaela (Jonathan), Samuel (Melody), Madeline, Dora, Martha, Anna, Daniel and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Madison and Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry.
