Eugeniusz Godzik Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugeniusz Godzik of Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Eugeniusz may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Godzik and Gertruda Godzik; his wife Barbara; and his brother Henryk (Stefania). He is survived by: his child Jacek (Ewa); his grandchildren, Anna and Adam; and also Klaudiusz (Hanna).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Muzyka & Son Funeral Home (5776 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL 60630). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rosalie Catholic Church (4401 N Oak Park Ave, Harwood Heights, IL 60706).
