She was predeceased by: her parents, Kyumatsu Yamamoto and Haruko Yamamoto; her husband George Yusaku Ogawa; her siblings, Yuriko Jyoko and Albert Takeshi Yamamoto; and her nephew Yasuhisa Jyoko.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Ogawa (Bruce Bank) and Michael Ogawa (Sunandita Banerji); her grandchildren, Karina Ogawa (Patrick Casey), Caroline Bank (Michael McConnell) and Brian Ogawa; and her siblings, Hatsumi Yamamoto, Martin Keiji Yamamoto and Eileen Ayako Seno (Wayne).
