Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert "Bob" J. Obuchowski; her children, Debra Herman (Michael) and Michael Obuchowski (Carrie Haller); her grandsons, Nicholas (Sarah) and Josh; her great grandchild Madelynn; and her brother Stanley Iwanicki (Jan).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (6150 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM and from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM.
