She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis C. Leonardo; her daughter Denise DeSando (late Daniel); and her siblings, Robert Kowarsch (late Margaret), Julia Merkle (late Joseph), Dorothy Schupp (late George) and Richard Kolasa (Anna).
She is survived by: her son Dennis S. (Carol); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa Leonardo-Bender (Douglas), Matthew (Kiley), Alexia, Dennis (Jessica) and Dustin DeSando (Jo-Ellen Macglashen); her great grandchildren, Miranda, Zachary, Dominick, Isabelle, Katrina, Gianna, Colin, Brooke, Caroline and Genevieve; and her brother Raymond Kolasa (Rene).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard Midway Funeral Home (5749 Archer Ave, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
