With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elanor Reiter (Chicago, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elanor left this world on March 26, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Harvard Reiter; her children, T. L. Adams (Scott Adams), Adam Reiter (Dawn Reiter) and Amy Reiter (Mark Miller); her grandchildren, Jason (Jenna), Amanda Ott (Steve), Colman, Simon Adams, Max and Dahlia Miller; and her sibling Avy "Al" Julius.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Star of David Cemetery (5736 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL 60646). A shiva was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elanor's name to Mazon, ACLU or Planned Parenthood would be appreciated.
