She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ralph E. Schroeder; her children, Tom (Pat), Nancy Manning (Mike), Gail Schroeder (Robert Pressney) and Rick (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Tommy Schroeder (Debbie Gutman), Nora Powers (Tom), Peter Schroeder, Allison Cosich (Johnny), Kim Guse (Peter), Lindsey Manning (Brian O'Connor) and Mark Manning; her great grandchildren, Caitlin, Riley, Duncan, Finnegan Powers, Nolan, Shea, Cora Cosich, Owen and Reid Guse; and her caregiver Lolita Leppago.
The lying in state was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (9401 S Oakley Ave, Chicago, IL 60643). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
