Though Edwin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edwin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Irene Montalvo (Tony) and Carolina Colon (Raul); his grandchildren, Tony, David, Kayla, Priscilla and Joshua; and his great grandchild Elijah.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Elms Funeral Home (7600 W Grand Ave, Elmwood Park, IL 60707). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
