He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Fleissner and Lois Thompson Fleissner. He is survived by: his wife Claire Holmes Fleissner; his brother Terry Fleissner (Sally) of Island Lake, IL; his children, Curt Fleissner (Kelli) of Flower Mound, TX, Scott Fleissner (Rhonda) of Sanger, TX, Jeff Holmes (Stacy) of Albuquerque, NM and Amy Holmes Harris (Joe) of Oregon; his grandchildren, Nicholas Fleissner, Grace Fleissner and Shelby Fleissner; his nephews, TJ and Diedrich Fleissner; and his niece RobiLyn Fleissner.
