She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis C. Morlan and Mary Catherine Morlan (Switzer); her husband Clarence Beard; her siblings, Kathryn Mercer (Earl), Beth Kinney (Robert), Dallas Morlan, Zora Peters (James) and Eva Tucker (Paul); and her granddaughter Ashley Beard.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Johnson (Daniel), Tim Beard (Wendy) and Janet Clarke (Richard). She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to Presbyterian Church of the Way, Shoreview, MN, designated to the memory of Edith Beard.
