He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Stavroula Galanis; his children, George (Sophia), Georgia Karabetsos (Andreas) and Angelo Galanis; his grandchildren, Stavroula Ortega (Joel), Evgenia and Alexios; and his great grandchild Ezekiel.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (893 Church Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Arlington Cemetery (401 E Lake St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
