She is survived by: her siblings, Naomi Mitchell of Hartford, CT, William Benton (Zorka) of Chicago, IL, Willie Benton (Vera) of Chicago, IL, Paulette Terry of Chicago, IL, Dudley "Jack" Terry of Chicago, IL, Pamela Spurlock (Arteil) of Chicago, IL and Elvis Terry (Kimberly) of Chicago, IL; her siblings-in-law, Cora Terry (James) and Dale Jackson (Verna); her great-nieces, Alaya Marshall and Jasmine Benton; her godchildren, Delores Terry-Sanders, Amethyst Shane-Bellamy and Adonya Triplett; and her close friends, Joanne Myrick, Betty Triplett, Argie Hollyfield, Everlene Hampton, Patricia Childs, Mandy Williams-Lilly and Colie Gills. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Noble Funeral Home (8158 S Exchange Ave, Chicago, IL 60617). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 8233 S Exchange Ave, Chicago, IL 60617. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (11500 S Fairfield Ave, Chicago, IL 60655).
