With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Martin Koleno (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on October 10, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Koleno and Sophia "Frieda" Koleno; and his sisters, Thelma Lorenc (late Albert), Rosemary "Jeanie" Parobek (late Paul) and Kathy Koleno.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Carol; his children, Sophia and Jonathan "Beau" Koleno (Alla); his stepdaughters, Barbara West (John), Therese Junker (Billy) and Nancy Westman (Andy); his grandchildren, Soraya, Noah Chemsi, Austin Koleno, Fiona, Mac, James, Emmett West, Cecilia, Annie, Ben, Josie, Meg, Lydia Junker, Mara, Charlotte and Matthew Westman; and his sister Georgia Vesely (late Jerry).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donnellan Funeral Home & Cremation (10525 S Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60643). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gianna Parish (10233 S Central Park Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
