He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Collins and Marie Collins (Copeland); and his brothers, Robert (Joyce) and Francis (Peg). He is survived by: his brother Tom Collins; and his nieces and nephews, Patti Gilliam (Stan), Pam Collins, Theresa Howard (Bob), Paul Collins (Debbie), Kathleen Magno, Stephen Collins (Sasha), Eileen Rosenstiehl (Mike) and Elizabeth Prost (Matt). He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews, as well as fond relatives.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church (708 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60657). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
