McCaslin in Chicago, Illinois, born in Birmingham, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 20, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Andrew McCaslin and Annie McCaslin; and his wife Ella McCaslin. He is survived by: his children, Michael Askew (Brenda) of Lilburn, GA and Angela Powell (Julius) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Brandon, Brian, Daniel and Brittany; his great grandchild Khaleesi; and his sisters, Annie Hargraves, Eleanor Gray and Eloise Butler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
