It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher J. Balog (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Susan Balog; and his parents, Hank Balog and Donna Balog. He is survived by: his spouse Ivette (Santiago); his children, Ryan Balog (Samantha), Dana Balog, Christopher, Jr., Edward Santiago (Rebecca) and David Cortez; his siblings, Henry "Rick" Balog (Susan), David Balog (Patricia) and Jeanine Balog; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Christian, Blaze, Cayden, Eli, Edward Jr., Julian, Jayden and David III. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
