She is survived by: her husband Hermenegildo Castro; her children, Adoracion Castro, Elizabeth Ramirez, Gilberto Castro, Sandra Olvera and Emmanuel Castro; her grandchildren, Giselle Castro, Angelo Ramirez, Andrea Ramirez, Diego Castro, Leilani Castro, Antonio Olvera, Nina Olvera, Vincent Olvera and Alejandro Olvera; and her sister Adelaida Torres.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mount Auburn Funeral Home (4101 S Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (2127 W 22nd Pl, Chicago, IL 60608). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at the Mount Auburn Cemetery (4101 S Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402).
