We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2024, Casimer M. Ragus of Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Casimer shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Casimer farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Halina; his children, George (Lori) and Elizabeth Buhrmaster (William); his grandchildren, Christine Reniff (Ryan), Carolyn Gessner (Scott), Daniel Ragus, Michelle Mataragas (Peter) and Julia Ragus; and his great grandchildren, Maya and Henry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John of the Cross Church (5005 Wolf Rd, Western Springs, IL 60558). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Adalbert Cemetery (6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
