As we bid Carrie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carrie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Daniel M. Jones; her children, Rosalind and Seneca (Marketta); and her grandchildren, Amaya, Micah, Roman and Tonnee.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church (2622 W Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL 60612).
