She is survived by: her children, Ann B. Friedman (Thomas L. Friedman) of Bethesda and John Bucksbaum (Jacolyn Baker Bucksbaum) of Chicago; and her grandchildren, Orly Friedman (Matthew Miller) of San Francisco, Natalie Winston (Daniel Winston) of Washington, D. C., Max Bucksbaum of New York and Eli Bucksbaum of Los Angeles. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Aspen Music Festival and School, NPR, the Art Institute of Chicago, or Des Moines Symphony Orchestra.
