He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Loucine Kassis and Michael Kassis; his wife Lorene Kassis; his children, Victoria and Michael Kassis; his stepson Ralph Carper; his siblings, Elie De Cassis (late Dianne), George Kassis (Jamie), Marie Kassis, Tony Kassis (Daisy) and Fadia Jugovich (Richard); and his nieces and nephews, Sidonie, Christina, Amira, Lily, Michael, Ryan, Cheyenne, Nicole, Michelle, Jessica and Emily.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Muzyka & Son Funeral Home (5776 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL 60630). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Hilary Church (5601 N California Ave, Chicago, IL 60659).
