Beatrice Muchman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatrice Muchman (Chicago, Illinois), who passed away on April 28, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Irwin Muchman; her son Robert "Robbie" Muchman; her former husband Lawrence "Larry" Abrams; her parents, Julius Westheimer and Meta Westheimer; her adoptive parents, Werner Lewy and Margot Lewy; and her in-law Anita Muchman.
She is survived by: her daughter Wendy Muchman (Sol Rajfer); her grandchildren, Robert Rajfer and Michelle Schlachet (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Asher and Julia; her children, Karen Abrams, Elise Flack (Bruce), Melanie Karsen (Perry), Melissa, Mitchell Flack and Adam (Sofi); her grandchild Charlie; her son Josh Gelvan (Sarina); her grandchildren, Frankie, Sophie and Oren Karsen (Rosamond); her great grandchild Lila; and her grandchildren, Shira Karsen and Trixie.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Anshe Emet Synagogue (3751 N Broadway, Chicago, IL 60613). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Rosehill Cemetery (5800 N Ravenswood Ave, Chicago, IL 60660). A shiva will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wendy & Sol's Residence (55 W Delaware Pl, Chicago, IL 60610).
