He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Zoyla; his children, Rodrigo Prado (Mari), Irma Prado, Maria Aranda (Jose), Arnulfo Jr. Prado (Ana) and Fernando Prado (Patricia); his grandchildren, Rodrigo Jr., Leticia, Michael, Mark, Vivian, Alejandro, Adrianna, Claudia, Karla and Omar; and his siblings, Maria Ester Prado, Maria Luisa Aguirre, Jose De Jesus Prado (Socorro Prado) and Joaquin Prado (Javier Prado).

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the Foran Funeral Home - Summit (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). A prayer was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (6435 S Kilbourn Ave, Chicago, IL 60629).
