She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludwig Pitt and Anna Pitt; and her husband Albert Machel. She is survived by: her children, Reinhold (late Judith) and Walter Machel (Karen); her grandchildren, Jennifer Zitella (Matthew), Rebecca Kirby (William) and Eric Machel (Jamie); and her great grandchildren, Caroline, Charlotte, Hope and Claire.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Muzyka & Son Funeral Home (5776 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL 60630).
