It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Donovan of Chicago Ridge, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Michael and Anna Sophie Donovan (Tomczak); his wife Darlene Marie Golembeski; and his daughter Lori. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Donovan (Jamie) of Braidwood and Robert Donovan (Jamie Kelly) of Mokena; his granddaughter Ariana Donovan; his sister-in-law MaryAnne Blattner; and his uncle Kenny Havelka. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Those wishing to attend are welcome to assemble at the cemetery entrance at 10:45 a.m. for the services and military honors which will be held in the cemetery chapel at 11:00 a.m. Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Charles memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
