He is survived by: his wife Amalia; his children, Jannet Carrasco, Richard Gómez (Denise), Daniel Gómez, Jose Armando Gómez and Deziree Gómez; his grandchildren, Emily, Megan, Adaly, Alyssa, Oscar Jr., Josue, Samuel, Mateo, Daniel Jr., Belinda and Armando Aly; his great grandchildren, Avery and Jacob; and his siblings, Miguel, Blanca, Amando and Alvaro Gómez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
