He was predeceased by: his parents, Severo Ruelas and Rosario Ruelas. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Lucy Ponce, Robert Ruelas and Margaret Ruelas; his grandchildren, Lupita, David, Lyssa, Sonya, Diana, Vanessa, Robert III, Rose, Erica, Stephanie, Javier, Eric, Melissa, Alex and Amanda; and his siblings, Guadalupe Ruelas (Kathy) and Dora Alonzo. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
