It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel G Kubon of Chicago Heights, Illinois, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Randall Kubon; her parents, George M. Gant and Sadie I Gant; and her sister Margaret Smith. She is survived by: her children, John Kubon, Jr., Christel Kubon (Pamela Basmajian), Sherrie Kubon and Amber Straczek (Curtis); her grandchildren, Jermie, Rachel, Randie, Brandon, Melissa, Lucas, Gabriella and Samuel; her sister Doris Domm (Ernie); and her brother-in-law Bill Smith. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
