She was predeceased by: her son Victor Ortiz; and her parents, Esther Lopez and Juan Lopez (late Benita). She is survived by: her children, Hilda M. Gonzalez (Pablo Rayo), Jorge Ortiz, Ana Luisa Ortiz and Baby Ortiz; her grandchildren, Hector A. Guzman, Rosa G. Guzman (Jose Gutierrez), Bianca Guzman, Estela Guzman, Jesenia Lopez, Jezzabela Lopez, Arturo Nino III (Viviana Garcia), Marcus V. Nino and Reyamia Juanita Nino; and her great grandchildren, Hector Ramirez, Adrian Domingez, Elizabeth V. Gutierrez Guzman, Mibella I. Guzman and Leobardo De Leon.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location.
