She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Grutzius; her parents, Laura Spinozzi and Frank Spinozzi; and her brother Frank Spinozzi. She is survived by: her children, Steven Grutzius (Sandra), Susan Christofanelli (Anthony), Michelle Pizzello (Frank), James Grutzius (Roseann) and Jeanne Grutzius; and her sister Dolores Bissonnette (Jan).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 4th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location.
