Sadly, John R. Willmer of Chicago Heights, Illinois, born in Harvey, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella and Willis; and his siblings, Emil "Jack" (late Wilma) and Everet "Pete" Willmer. He is survived by: his wife Greta; his children, Bryan Willmer and Carolyn McBride (Miles); his grandchildren, Amber Smetana (Bryan), Miles McBride (Tori O'Connor), Rachel McBride and Owen McBride; and his great grandchildren, Hayden and Scarlett Smetana.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Derby House (7048 W Steger Rd, Frankfort, IL 60423).
