He was predeceased by: his brother Gary; and his parents, Eugene "Jake" and Maryanne Gerardi. He is survived by: his siblings, Gene "Butch", Janis Rudnicki (Ken), Marianne Fushi (Gilbert), Larry, Caralie Cristelli (Phil), Rob (Janon) and Leroy Sutherland (Gretchen); and his pet Troy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
