She was predeceased by: her grandson Antonio Villarreal; and her parents, Josefina Garcia and Baltazar Garcia. She is survived by: her spouse Seferino Guzman; her children, Rachel Villarreal (Jose Luis) and Santiago Guzman (Janie); and her grandchildren, Krystal, Ashley, Jose Luis Jr., Priscilla Villarreal, Santiago Jr., Fabian and Alexia Guzman.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 6th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location.
