He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria; his parents, Paulina Strzelec and Benedict Strzelec; and his siblings, Rozalia Strzelec, Josephine Strzelec, Genevieve Domuray (late William) and Victoria Edwards (late John).
He is survived by: his children, Pauline Hilliard (late James D.), Patrick Strzelec (Lisa Baratta) and Barbara Todd (Mark); his grandchildren, Jason Hilliard (Jen), Joel Hilliard, Jeffrey Hilliard, Sam Strzelec (Laurie), Lucas Srzelec (Lily), Jennifer Budde (Michael) and Lindsey Michalik (Peter); and his great grandchildren, Riehl, Piper, Kyler Hilliard, Ben, Teddy Strzelec, Liam, Beau, Colette Budde and Owen Michalik.
The lying in state was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Heights/St Agnes Church (1501 Chicago Rd, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
