He was predeceased by: his parents, Abner Jackson and Elizabeth Jackson (Ophardt); his son Hal Douglas Jackson; his grandson Douglas Letterle; and his brothers, James and Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Lee Spillman; his daughter Joni Bauer (Dave) of Mt. Pulaski; and his brothers, Earl and George Jackson.
