She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie L. Howie and Elsie M. Howie; her spouse Glenn Long; her daughter Phyllis Ann Long; and her brother Harold Howie.

She is survived by: her sons, Glenn (Mary), Tommy and Johnny Long Chester; and her granddaughter Shelby Wetzel (Jordan).
