We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2023, at the age of 87, Vernon A. Gielow of Chester, Illinois, born in Steeleville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gielow and Ella Rinne Gielow; and his brother Marvin Gielow. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Gielow of Chester; his children, Bob Gielow (Tammy) of Steeleville, Jeanie Coleman (Brad Perry) of New Baden, IL and Jim Gielow (Denise) of Pinckneyville; his grandchildren, Greg Coleman (Janelle), Jill Georger (Keith), Micaela Stein (Joshua) and Bradley Gielow (Becky); and his great grandchildren, Izzy, Noah, Alyssa, Nathan, Parker, Miles, Mackenzie and Alaina.
The preferred form of remembrance are memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Redecorating Fund.
