He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Durkee and Mildred "Mickey" Durkee; and his brothers, Melvin Mueller and Willard "Bud" Mueller. He is survived by: his wife Charleene Durkee Chester; his children, William (Megan), Brittani and Roy Durkee Covington (Janna); and his grandchildren, Isabella, Sophia, Trevor, Lily, Jack and Maverick.
