She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Leo and Bertha Mae Kessel; her husband Clarence B. Hartenberger; her son Richard Hartenberger; her siblings, Vernon Kessel, Ezra Kessel, Margaret Sweetwood and Wilma McCloud; and her stepgrandson Adam Creason.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald and Dennis (Beth); her daughter-in-law Gracie Hartenberger Houston; her grandchildren, Tim Johnson (Annette), Matt (Angel), Sarah Brock (Tyler), Craig (Renata) and Katelyn Hartenberger Makanda (Kyle Brandt); her stepgrandchild Lacey (Shawn); and her niece Brenda Congiardo. She is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren.
Memorials contributions can be made in Minnie's memory to the Alzheimer's Association Illinois Chapter 805 and memorials are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester.
