Mary Lee Gross Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2024, at the age of 92, Mary Lee Gross of Chester, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Wucher and Anita Wucher; her sister Elizabeth Wucher Ohlau (Betty); and her husband Herman Edward Gross. She is survived by: her close friends, Betty, Lorine, Barb and Lillian; her children, Bill Gross (Melissa), Carolyn Venable (Steve) and Jo Ann Harrison (Matthew); her grandchildren, Meredith Klausing (Bobby), Morgan Bendorf (Cody), Chase Venable (Kelly), Casey Venable (Adele), Nathan Harrison and Ryan Harrison; and her great grandchildren, Parker Klausing, Anna, Mia Bendorf, Carter and Wyatt Venable.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (302 W Holmes St, Chester, IL 62233). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
