She is survived by: her children, Larry Asselemeier Chester (Sheri) and Lynn Powley Chester (Rick); her sisters, Kay (Jack) and Janet Schroeder Jones (John); her grandchildren, Kaela Powley, Benjamin Asselmeier and Bradley Asselmeier (Katherine); and her sisters-in-law, Vera and Betty Hammel Chester.
