He was predeceased by: his father John West; his former wife Carolyn Krietner; his mother Carolyn; his son Greg West; and his siblings, Louise Spring (Gene), Lillie Mae Halterman, Doris Jean Williams (Gene) and Bob West.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Runge Chester; his son Darrell West Dyersburg (Chris); his sister Wanda Beanland Anna (Sonny); his siblings-in-law, Dr. Charles Halterman Anna and Shirley West Anna; his grandchildren, Cody West (Brittney Hefner), Chloe (Dylan) and Cortney West Medina; and his great grandchildren, Ahnna Marie West, Easton Wayne Berry and Many. He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
In Lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorials be made to St. John Lutheran Church in Chester.
