He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Proffer and Rosalie Proffer; his brothers-in-law, Ebert Bowen and Tex Hebrock; and his niece Jennifer Garland.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Easton; his children, Julie Proffer (Tim Hadler), Jimmy Proffer, Jr. and Christy Cook (Dave); his sisters, Wanda (Frank), Carolyn Hebrock and Lisa; his grandchildren, Dillan Smith, Meghan McDonough (Jason), Haley Newell (Brandon), Nathan Proffer (Allena), Mychael Thompson, Brayden Cook, Tyler Cook, Mitchell Isom and Will Isom; and his great grandchildren, Waylon, Josie, Lane, Kaidyn and Oliver. He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
Memorials may be made in Jimmy's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Ronald McDonald House or Shriner's Children Hospital and are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester.
