He was predeceased by: his father Cardel "Dirk" Derickson; his wife Betty Shemoney; his brothers, Don and James "Jimmy" Derickson; his siblings-in-law, D. Joe Mifflin, James "Bernard" Shemoney, Barbara Derickson and Cleo Shemoney; his nephew James D. Mifflin; and his friend Frank.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki (Tom) and Brenda Gallagher Atlanta (Greg); and his sister-in-law Melba Shemoney (Many). He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren.
