She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Wayne Higgerson and Janet Elizabeth Eggemeyer; and her stepfather Edmund Eggemeyer. She is survived by: her husband Van Mueller; her children, Erica (Lanny), Shea Atchison (Jacob) and Averi Mueller (Stephen Roth); her siblings, Steven (Samia) and Barbara Higgerson-Harmsen (William House); her stepmother Peggy; and her grandchildren, Rylie Conley, Brooklyn, Finley, Beau Eggemeyer, Zoe, Vance Atchison and Theodore Roth. She is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
