He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario and Esther. He is survived by: his wife Janice Pikula; his father-in-law Stan Pikula; his children, Tammi Garzanelli of Lake Geneva and Peter, Jr. of Webster Park; his grandchildren, Anthony Garzanelli and Addison Vlastnik; and his siblings, Katherine Spencer (Dennis) of Pekin, Mario Garzanelli of Nevada and Charles Garzanelli (Vicky) of Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
