We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2022, Walter Smith of Cherry Valley, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Henry; his brother Jerry Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Johnson and Ray Willis. He is survived by: his wife Solveig Johansson; his daughter Tanya Myers (Scott); his grandsons, Jack and Dylan Myers; his sister Sherrell Hodges (Gene); his sisters-in-law, Elsie Carlson and Siv Willis; and also, Benny, Raymond and William. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rockford Rescue Mission or the Vets Roll.
